Background

The Ambleside boat launch has been an issue before West Van Council for over a decade, being formally included as part of the 2008 Ambleside Village Center Strategy.

Community and Business support for continued water access has been strong, but without a single organizing body to represent users, feedback has typically fallen on deaf ears.  Clicking here and registering your support will help!

Andrew Kennett and Phil Grassi in particular have worked dilligently to determine  stakeholders, understand the issues, and outline solutions. The currently proposed pilot is an outcome of their work.
