About Us
We are a group of citizens dedicated to supporting and promoting the use of trailerable boats at Ambleside.
This follows from West Vancouver Council's 2016 decision to close the sole public water access for trailerable boats on the entire West Vancouver waterfront.
Access to the ocean is a fundamental recreational aspect of our spectacular community, and via the ramp at Ambleside has been available for over 50 years. It is a key recreational asset that is a core part of our heritage.
Boating and access to our waterfront is fully aligned with our community plan, being inclusive, multi-generational, and providing vibrancy and interest.
